Kathleen Gregory is a researcher at the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at Leiden University and a guest research fellow at the ScholCommLab. Her research investigates scholarly and science communication practices and infrastructures, with a focus on those related to (research) data, open science, peer review, and research evaluation.
She holds a PhD in Science & Technology Studies from Maastricht University, where her thesis Findable and reusable? Data discovery practices in research was awarded highest honours. She also holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Drexel University and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Colorado. Previously, Kathleen worked as an academic librarian in the United States and Germany, where her work focused on scientific information literacy and bibliometrics.
