Iara Vidal is a visiting scholar at the ScholCommLab. She has a background in Library Science and is finishing her PhD in Information Science at the graduate program co-directed by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the Brazilian Institute of Information for Science and Technology. She is interested in scientometrics (particularly altmetrics), scholarly communication, and open access.
